Jembatan Barito

In the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, there is one tourist attraction that is very famous and never deserted enthusiasts, especially on the weekend, the Barito Bridge. So named because the bridge with a length of 1082 meters passes over the Barito River and connects South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. The bridge itself was first inaugurated in 1997 by President Soeharto and became an icon of Banjarmasin City. Late in the afternoon, many tourists visit here simply to enjoy the beautiful and spacious Barito River. Interestingly, at the bottom of the bridge there is a small island called Bakut Island, so locals also often call this place as a bridge Bakut.
