Banda Aceh, which is the capital of Aceh province, holds great tourism potential. Starting from religious tourism, there is a Baiturrahman Mosque that is not only majestic but also keeps a magical story. When the tsunami hit Aceh 2004 ago, this mosque is still standing upright and become a refuge for residents.
In addition to the mosque, there is another tourist attraction to commemorate the tsunami tragedy in Banda Aceh namely the Tsunami Museum. The museum was designed by Ridwan Kamil, as a symbolic monument to the earthquake and tsunami disaster, as well as an educational center.
Then there are many more interesting attractions that unfortunately missed. For example PLTD Apung is a PLN power generator ship in Banda Aceh, the tomb of Sultan Iskandar Muda, and various beautiful beaches like Ulee Lheue.
